Why did you decide to audition for Juniors?

I really enjoyed learning at RCS through doing short courses when I was younger and wanted to progress to the next level. My audition was via self tape and then an online redirect and interview. The panel were very welcoming and made my audition feel informal and relaxed. I felt so excited to find out that I had been offered a place. Starting Juniors gave me something big to look forward to at the end of every week.

What do you look forward to most on a Sunday?

I look forward to seeing my friends who travel from all over the UK to go to Juniors. I look forward to discovering new things about acting and just being in such a creative space with such welcoming people.

The atmosphere at Juniors is amazing. I have never walked past someone in the corridor without them smiling back. Everyone at Juniors is so passionate about what they do and that lights up the space.

Why should young people apply for Juniors?

We are so lucky as young people to have an opportunity like Juniors. You should apply if you are a young person who is passionate about perusing a career in the industry. Juniors helps young people with all levels of experience to discover who they are as people and performers. Juniors will help you to connect with people who share your passion. It will also encourage you to work with people who study other art forms at Bridge Week or during collaboration modules. Juniors has helped me to believe in myself and gain confidence when in auditions, when working on external projects and even outside of acting.
