About
Hana Nadira is an actor, director, and composer based in Glasgow. Most recently seen in Buah by Jen Nee Lim, which premiered at the Busan International Film Festival, Hana is passionate about centering women’s narratives- leading initiatives such as #WomensPlayMarathon and the Women’s Theatre Festival Kuala Lumpur through her work with Panas Panas Theatre. She has also directed and created work across multiple mediums, including theatre productions, online performance, fiction/audio storytelling, and music-driven projects.
A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Hana’s creative practice naturally integrates her musical training with narrative and performance. She is currently writing, directing, and performing an original work as part of her MFA Acting at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, which will be presented this January at the CCA. Her artistry remains committed to telling honest, nuanced stories that explore the intersections of her cultural identity.
