Junior Conservatoire Lecturer and Accompanist, Piano

Hebba Benyaghla is in demand as a collaborative pianist and enjoys a diverse career working with many of Scotland’s national companies including Scottish Opera, Edinburgh International Festival, National Youth Choirs of Scotland and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, alongside her roles as a Lecturer and Accompanist at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

Hebba Benyaghla is in demand as a collaborative pianist and enjoys a diverse career working with many of Scotland’s national companies including Scottish Opera, Edinburgh International Festival, National Youth Choirs of Scotland and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, alongside her roles as a Lecturer and Accompanist at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

Hebba was a Britten-Pears Young Artist in Collaborative Piano and has performed in masterclasses with renowned musicians including Sir. Antonio Pappano, Dame Ann Murray, Joan Rodgers, Roderick Williams, Emma Kirkby and pianists Stephen Hough, Solomon Mikowsky, Pascal Rogé, and Julius Drake. She was an Associate of the London Philharmonic Orchestra’s Foyle Future Firsts and an alumnus of the London Sinfonietta Academy and Oxford Lieder.

A sought-after choral accompanist, she works with choirs across Scotland, the Rodolfus Foundation and accompanied the RCS Junior Conservatoire Choirs in BBC Scotland Broadcasts. As a repetiteur, Hebba has worked with Mahogany Opera, Scottish Opera’s Young Company, Lammermuir Festival, RCS Opera and was the Musical Director for a revival of The Seal Woman with Scots Opera Project.

Hebba has performed at festivals including the Aurora Chamber Music Festival (Sweden), Institut Français d’Écosse, FM Academia International (Madrid), Animusica Festival (Portugal), Music at Paxton, Cumnock Tryst, Perth International Festival, BBC Proms with the BBCSSO, Queen’s Hall Young Artists Programme and appeared on BBC Radio 3 as part of International Women’s Day. She graduated from RCS where she obtained her Undergraduate and Master’s Degrees and was awarded the inaugural Principal’s Scholarship.
