James Kane

MA Acting Classical and Contemporary Text
Class of 2025

About

James is a Scottish actor from Taynuilt, Argyll who is equally comfortable working across film, TV, theatre, radio, podcasts, opera and musical theatre as he is skimming stones, ceilidh dancing and playing guitar or bugle. His rural upbringing – where storytelling celebrated man’s place in the natural environment – gave him a unique take on the arts. His connection with his heritage provided a rich experience from which to draw inspiration and which continues to inform created or collaborated works.
