Kara is 15 and from Hamilton.
Why did you decide to audition for Juniors?
I thought it would offer great training for musical theatre and great opportunities. The audition was chill, well organised and a learning environment.
When I got the offer of a place, I was so excited to get started but nervous as I didn’t know many people.
What do you look forward to most on a Sunday?
Seeing my group and my actor muso class as it’s something that other drama training doesn’t offer. The atmosphere here is just a buzz as everyone is just so excited to see each other!
Why should young people apply for Juniors?
You should apply to juniors as it builds your talent and knowledge as well as building your confidence as a person. One thing I really think I have took away from Juniors is being able to put myself out there and try new things – my confidence has built up so so much as well as my people skills.
