Li-Hsin Chu

Li-Hsin started to dance at the age of 6. When she was 11, she participated in her first ballet competition and received a partial scholarship for a summer course at the School of Cadence Ballet in Toronto. After that, she has taken part in more competitions such as the Star of Canaan Dance International Ballet Competitions and the Taiwan Grand Prix. Before entering RCS, she had been training full-time in the dance department of a Taiwanese high school, where she also learned Chinese dance and character dance apart from ballet and contemporary dance.

While training in Taiwan, Li-Hsin choreographed four solo pieces for herself to dance in some competitions and developed her choreographic style. These experiences led her to join the Choreography Competition 2022 and present her solo piece in the graduation performance in 2023. In last year’s Choreography Competition, she won the prize with her group dance piece, which is then going to be performed in the graduation performance this year.
