Nova is 16 and from Barrhead.

Why did you decide to audition for Juniors?

To learn more about production and explore other specialisms. I also wanted to meet new people and make friends with people who shared my interests.

The  interview was really chill and it was a good way for me to just yap about my interests. I was so happy when I got my offer and I couldn’t wait to start. It was a bit intimidating when I started, but I settled in super fast and it was just a fun and chill time.

What do you look forward to most on a Sunday?

Seeing all of my friends from Juniors and having a good blab. I also look forward to learning about different specialisms and making different fun things. The atmosphere is really chill and friendly; it feels kinda like a hangout where you’re also doing things you love and having a good blab sesh!

Why should young people apply for Juniors?

You should apply to join Juniors for a very unique learning experience that’s tailored to you and also because you’ll get to meet such an amazing and diverse group of friends.

Juniors made me feel able to try new things outside of my artform and also improved my confidence a lot. It also helped me to stop procrastinating and actually finish projects I start!
