
Yui Yamato
Yui was born in Japan and she began ballet training when she was 8 years old. She trained at Ballet le Coeur before starting full-time training at the Royal conservatoire of Scotland. She is grateful for wonderful experiences that BA modern ballet course provided, and she is excited to begin a new chapter after graduation.
During her time at RCS, she had many opportunities to work with multiple professional choreographers, and these were the most enriching time that unthinkable before joining RCS. In particular, the preparation process for the annual performance to working on different type of pieces was a huge beneficial to her. She is grateful to this programme and staff who supported her through unforgettable 3 years here, during which she developed not only dance knowledge and training but also both physically and mentally through a variety of incentive, and these experiences will no doubt be a great guide for her future.
She also had the privilege to work with Scottish Ballet’s winter tour of The Nutcracker on the same stage with professional dancers.
Finally, the past 3 years at RCS was irreplaceable and precious moments in her life, and she believes that this experience was made more fulfilling by all of the classmates and staff members. She would like to say thank you to her family who always believing in her at all time from long distance.
She is looking forward to starting a new chapter after graduation, and she hopes to be involved with ballet in a wide range of the way.
