What is Coaching?
Coaching is a space that is supportive and open.
Coaching is a space you can discuss something in your life that you want to develop.
Coaching is a space to listen to your inner voice so that you can learn to trust your own decisions.
Coaching is a space to find the way forward, make a plan and act on it.

What happens in a coaching session?
You will meet for 1-1 sessions with your coach, either in person at RCS or online.
- Each session will last 45 minutes
- You will do 3-6 sessions throughout the year
- Sessions are confidential
You will decide what you want to talk about. Your coach will not judge or offer advice but will listen to you, ask questions and reflect back what they hear. This will help you be clearer on how to move forward.
What might coaching give you?
Coaching is an individual journey and can bring many benefits, including:
- Confidence in your own instincts
- Feeling heard and supported
- A clearer view of your path
- A better understanding of yourself
- Ability to take action
- Better communication with yourself and others
We use coaching at Fair Access because we believe it can support your journey, and we have seen how it has helped both students and staff at RCS.
