Congratulations to Andrew McCrindle on graduating with an Honours degree in Traditional Music (Piping).

It’s a tremendous achievement and the result of years of dedication, hard work and passion for your music. From starting out on the wee Govan pipes at just 9 years old to reaching this milestone, your journey has been an inspiring one.

It feels especially fitting that you are now going on to become a teacher in schools, giving young people the same opportunities that helped shape your own path. Passing on your skills, experience and love of piping to the next generation is a wonderful way to continue the tradition and ensure it thrives for years to come.

Wishing you every success and happiness in your teaching career and in all that lies ahead. Congratulations once again on a fantastic achievement.

Welcome aboard the crazy train to the wonderfully mad world of teaching—where no two days are ever the same, plans rarely go as expected, and you will never get through a to-do list…ever again!!! It’s chaotic, exhausting, and completely unpredictable, but it is hands down one of the most rewarding jobs out there.
