Junior Conservatoire of Music celebrates ten students selected for the National Youth Orchestra 2026
                    Ten young musicians from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s Junior Conservatoire of Music have been selected to join the National Youth Orchestra (NYO) 2026.
Representing a wide range of instruments and leadership positions, the musicians take their place among some of the UK’s most passionate and talented emerging performers, playing with one of the most inspiring youth orchestras in the world.
Those selected from RCS Juniors are:
- Lucy Arbuckle – Horn
 - Magnus Campbell – Horn
 - Alasdair Cottee – Oboe Principal
 - Emily Hathaway – Percussion Joint Principal
 - Henry Jones – Percussion Joint Principal
 - Zuzanna Kujawa – Flute
 - Rhona Langford – Horn
 - Isla MacFadyen – Double Bass String Leader
 - Jack Traynor – Tenor Trombone Principal
 - Malcolm Wong – Violin
