MA/MFA Creative Arts Practice
Join us for an engaging online session exploring what it means to unlock and sustain creativity within contemporary artistic practice.
We’ll look at the most important qualities creative practitioners need today — curiosity, resilience, collaboration, and the ability to respond boldly to a rapidly changing world.
Dr Una MacGlone will guide a discussion on how we identify and remove the blocks that get in the way of creative flow, and how reflective practice can deepen both artistic identity and craft. We’ll also consider the values that underpin sustainable creative careers, from care and community to risk-taking and experimentation. A special guest artist (TBC) will join us for an informal conversation about real-world creative strategies and the habits that keep their practice alive.
Please note, camera and mic settings will be enabled, but the session will not be recorded.

MA/MFA Arts Leadership & Fundraising
This online session invites prospective students to explore what truly matters in leadership for the arts today—from ethical decision-making and empathy to transparency, and imagination.
Together, we’ll discuss the core knowledge and competencies emerging arts leaders need, such as navigating organisational environments, building relationships, and leading with purpose and integrity. We’ll reflect on the values that guide impactful cultural leadership, and how sector challenges can be met with creativity, care, and strategic thinking.
A guest leader (TBC) will join us to share lived insights from their professional journey, offering a grounded and inspiring view of what effective leadership looks like in practice.
Please note, camera and mic settings will be enabled, but the session will not be recorded.
