Support a Scholarship

RCS Scholarship Fund

Approximately one-third of our students are supported by the RCS Scholarship Fund each year.

This Scholarship Fund offers opportunities for students from across the world to learn their craft here in Scotland, enriching both their lives and the national artistic landscape.

By donating to the Scholarship Fund, you are directly supporting a young person to study at a world-leading conservatoire, removing the financial barrier or pressures they might otherwise face.

You can give directly to the RCS Scholarship Fund below or find out more about other specific scholarship funds further down this page. We thank you for your generosity and support.

How Your Support Helps

Meet Colleen

Colleen Bell is an RCS BA Filmmaking Alumnus. She won multiple Royal Television Society Student Awards during her time with us and is now working in factual and entertainment TV as well as pursuing her own writing projects.

We spoke to Colleen in her second year about her studies and how receiving a scholarship enabled her to follow her dream of telling stories on screen.

“I could not have finished my studies without my scholarship. As an actor, third year is a springboard into the professional world – which means a lot of hard work but also extra expenses – and your help has given me the same chance as anyone else in my class.”
