The RCS Centre for Lifelong Learning exists to widen access to the performing arts taught within the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
We offer a programme of performing arts courses for adults throughout the year, suitable for beginners, right through to those thinking about applying for further education in the performing arts and a possible career in the creative industries.
Hundreds of adult learners from across the world engage with the Centre for Lifelong Learning each year, either for professional development or simply to learn new skills and try something fun.
Our courses for adults start at age 16+ and include year-long evening classes, short study courses taking place over a weekend or summer courses which typically last five days. We also run audition and interview preparation courses for people who want to apply for conservatoire education and want some further development in advance of their audition/interview.
As a student at Scotland’s national conservatoire, you will benefit from studying in a friendly and supportive atmosphere where students are encouraged to realise their aspirations, develop their skills and explore their potential.
