Application fees and walkthrough guide
There is a UCAS Conservatoires application fee of £26.50, in addition to individual audition fees per programme.
We recognise that auditioning and interviewing for conservatoires, drama and ballet schools can be costly. The audition fee charge allows us to offer a thorough and positive experience to all applicants and we encourage you to ask the panel questions and find out more about the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland to see if it is the best place for you.
We are committed to ensuring fair access to a conservatoire education for students who have the talent and potential to benefit from it, regardless of their background. In support of this, audition fee waivers are offered to applicants whom financial hardship may be a barrier to auditioning. Please see the audition fee waivers document for more information.
A walkthrough guide on completing your UCAS Conservatoires application will be made available soon.
As applications open for entry in September 2022, some of our programmes’ audition processes will remain wholly online and others will have in-person elements. The safety of our students, applicants and staff remains our priority as we navigate this process. Should you have a query about our audition processes for this year, please contact our team at email@example.com or check your department page for further information. Please see below our helpful online guide to assist you in the event of your audition being a requested recording:
All applications made before the programme’s specific closing date are asked to either submit an audition recording or attend an audition in person, dependent on your programme of choice. If you are required to submit an audition recording, our walkthrough guide on how to upload your audition recording can be found here:
