Our advice lessons for 2023 are now closed.
Our lessons will re-open in May 2024. If you have any queries or questions, please get in touch with us at hello@rcs.ac.uk, we will do our best to help. If you already have a lesson booked with us but have not had a confirmation yet, we are currently waiting for information to be confirmed with our teaching staff.
One-to-one Principal-Study lessons are at the heart of any conservatoire course. An advice lesson here at RCS gives you the chance to experience the RCS working environment and assess the suitability for conservatoire education. It can also be used as a mock/advice audition.
Advice Lessons are available in person at our Renfrew Street campus or online via Zoom. The conservatoire arranges advice lessons with its teaching staff for £40 per 30mins.

Arranging advice lessons is dependent on the availability of staff. As such, it is often not possible, or takes significantly longer, to arrange advice lessons outside of term time.
Advice Lessons Payment
Pay online through the RCS Box Office. Clicking the ‘Buy Now’ button below will take you to an online shopping basket with one advice/consultation lesson (at £40) automatically added to the cart. If you are paying for more than one lesson, then you can simply edit the quantity.
We are currently not taking any new advice lesson bookings. The payment link will be available here when they reopen.
Unfortunately we no longer offer the option to pay by bank transfer. If you can’t make a card payment, please get in touch with us at hello@rcs.ac.uk and we can advise on how to move forward.
