Abigail Jardine

BA Modern Ballet

Class of 2026

About

Abigail Jardine was born in West Lothian, Scotland, and began her dance training at the age of five with Edinburgh Dance Academy. In 2017, she was accepted into The Dance School of Scotland, where she boarded and trained vocationally for six years before joining the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS) in 2023. She is currently in her final year of the BA Modern Ballet programme and looks forward to graduating with a Bachelor of Arts this July.

Abigail has thrived during her time at RCS and is deeply grateful for the exceptional training and opportunities she has received. Highlights include working with renowned choreographers such as Christopher Bruce and Steven Brett, learning excerpts from Ghost Dances for the annual graduate showcase.

Abigail is also thankful for the Conservatoire’s many performance experiences, including the annual graduation performances, solos evening, piano and dance and dancing at the Gleneagles Hotel, where she had the privilege of performing the role of Clara in The Nutcracker.

Abigail has learned and grown throughout her time at RCS and would like to thank all the staff on the BA Modern ballet course for their help and support during her time at RCS. She would also like to take this opportunity to thank her family for all their support during her training. She is looking forward to what the future holds.
