Anna Reid
Anna is known for her soothing, pure voice and she delivers songs with great sensitivity and expression. She has performed at various events across her career so far. She is also a sought-after tutor and is currently a YMI music instructor in both West Dumbartonshire and South Ayrshire Council, and a lecturer at the RCS Junior Conservatoire.
Anna Reid is a Scots Singer originating from North Ayrshire on the West Coast of Scotland. She began singing lessons at the age of 8, and through that, found her love for Traditional song. Anna began studying Scots song at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s Junior Conservatoire for 2 years and followed on to the degree course where she graduated with a BMus Traditional Music with an endorsement in music education.

Highlights include various Celtic Connections performances in the Glasgow City Halls and the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and The Scots Fiddle Festival in Edinburgh. She has also performed at Fête de la musique in Voisins-le-Bretonneux France and at Scotland House and UK Ambassadors residence in Brussels. Anna is also a sought-after tutor and is currently a YMI music instructor in both West Dumbartonshire and South Ayrshire Council.
