Bridie Grice
Class of 2026
About
Born in Brisbane, Australia, Bridie began dancing at the age of three. After initial training at a local dance school, she joined the Annette Roselli Dance Academy (ARDA) at fifteen, entering the Elite Training Program to further her technical and artistic development. During her time at ARDA, she worked under Annette Roselli and the rest of the amazing teaching staff, all of whom played a significant role in shaping her growth as a dancer. In September 2023, Bridie commenced the BA Modern Ballet programme at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Training at RCS has seen Bridie extend herself and explore movement beyond her comfort zone both technically and artistically. She is grateful to have engaged in a broad range of dance genres, which has helped her grow as a more versatile dancer. She has had the privilege of working with distinguished choreographers such as Christopher Bruce, Steven Brett, Jessica Fyfe, Kia Smith and Deborah Norris experiences which have been integral to her development. In addition, she has benefited from classes and workshops with international guest teachers, dancers and choreographers. Bridie is very lucky to have had numerous performance opportunities that were fulfilling and invaluable, including Gleneagles Hotel, Piano and Dance, Solos Evening, Ballet and Brass, and the annual Graduation performances.
In October 2025, Bridie was a finalist at the RAD Fonteyn Competition in Brazil—an experience she regards as both an honour and a milestone in her ballet journey. She is forever grateful to have had this once in a lifetime opportunity to perform on the international stage representing RCS and herself with pride.
Bridie is deeply grateful for the supportive and nurturing environment fostered by the RCS faculty, whose unwavering guidance has been instrumental in her development as an emerging artist. She also extends heartfelt thanks to her parents for their unwavering support in helping pursue her dreams. Bridie is excited to begin her professional career. She hopes to join a professional ballet company after she graduates in July 2026 and looks forward to the opportunities ahead.
