Caroline Roxburgh

Caroline Roxburgh is a Chartered Accountant and was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP until 2016. She has over 30 years of business experience advising boards in a range of industry sectors, on business strategy, risk management, governance, financial reporting and internal control. Her experience covers developing businesses for large, listed companies in the UK and internationally and includes organisations in the culture, arts and charity sectors.

Caroline was a member of PwC UK’s Supervisory Board (2012-2016), the governance body of PwC UK’s Partnership, where she was a member of the audit and risk committee, strategy and governance committee and was a member of PwC UK’s Risk Council.

Caroline is a non-executive director of Edinburgh Worldwide Investment Trust plc where she is also Chair of the Audit Committee, non-executive director of Montanaro European Smaller Companies Trust plc, where, she is also a Senior Independent Director and Chair of the Audit Committee.  She is also a non-executive director and Chair of Audit and Risk Committees at the Edinburgh International Festival and VisitScotland.
