Charlie is the Discipline Lead in Dance on the BA Musical Theatre Programme where she delivers programme content teaching Jazz, Tap and MT Choreography.

Originally from Hampshire, England, Charlie studied at Laine Theatre Arts before graduating in 2012 with a National Diploma in Musical Theatre awarded by Trinity College.

With over 10 years of experience as a musical theatre performer, she has performed across London’s West End, toured with some of the UK’s biggest productions, and worked internationally in Paris and Monte Carlo. Throughout her career, she has had the privilege of working alongside Tony and Olivier Award-winning directors and choreographers and has enjoyed a varied journey from performing in the ensemble and working as a swing, to understudying and ultimately playing lead roles.

Her credits include Mamma Mia! Prince of Wales Theatre & Novello Theatre, London, Jersey Boys UK Tour, Happy Days UK Tour, Thoroughly Modern Millie Kilworth House Theatre, Legally Blonde Curve Productions, Monte Carlo, Singin’ In The Rain Théâtre du Châtelet, Paris, Kinky Boots UK Tour, Jersey Boys Trafalgar Theatre, London and 42nd Street Théâtre du Châtelet, Paris.

Since stepping away from performing in 2024, Charlie has discovered a real passion for teaching and has had the privilege of working at The Scottish Institute of Theatre, Dance, Film & TV, and more recently at Gamta Pro and The Junior Conservatoire.

Charlie is incredibly excited to be joining the BA Faculty as Discipline Lead in Dance and is looking forward to bringing her professional experience and passion for dance and musical theatre to the programme, and to supporting the next generation of performers as they begin their own journeys in the industry.
