Isla Macleod

About

Isla was born in England and started dancing at her local ballet school. She was a part of the Royal Ballet School Associate programme for six years prior to joining RCS in 2023. Isla has thoroughly enjoyed her time on the Modern Ballet course at RCS and is looking forward to the future.

Throughout her three years at RCS Isla has had many exciting opportunities to grow and develop as an artist such as performing in the annual graduation performances, Piano and Dance collaborations, and dancing at the Gleneagles Hotel. A further highlight was participating in the 2024 Fonteyn International Ballet Competition. Isla has also been fortunate to work with industry professional choreographers including Christopher Bruce, Jessica Fyfe, Kia Smith and Deborah Norris.

Isla would like to thank the all teachers at RCS for their guidance and support throughout her training, as well as her friends for the lovely memories made during their time together.
