About
My name is Paul Barrett and I’m 21 from Glasgow!
My passion for dance started when I was 5 years old learning/training street dance styles and 14 years later broadening my ability taking up ballet, jazz, contemporary and others to be more versatile and further my training in dance college at dance studio Scotland.
Before collage I was only doing dancing street dance where I competed at competitions such as UDO (united dance organisation) and local comps in Scotland.
I’ve trained with a lot of cool people over the years from workshops in collages to intensives with people who have made it in the industry and are well known, I’ve also worked with Scottish ballets youth exchange group that went to New York and worked with move NYC.
With all my knowledge/background in hip hop/ street dance styles I also teach in dance schools, pop up classes and workshops for ages 5+.
As the dancer I’ve became and heading into the industry, cruise ships look appealing to me and hopefully one day back up dancer for a well known artist, however I rarely would turn a job down whatever it may be as I just love to dance and perform. I also have a passion for making my own choreography and teaching so this would be something I’m looking forward to seeing what comes of that in the future!
