Woody Freeman

About

Woody was born in Sidcup, UK. His dance journey began at Dorothy Marshall Dance studios in Plumstead, and shortly after moving to Beckenham Ballet Academy. At the age of 11 Woody was accepted into the Royal Ballet School, however the school didn’t seem to be the best fit for him so he moved over to Young Dancers Academy (LVBS) in West London where he trained for 5 years prior to joining the BA course. Woody has really enjoyed his time on the program so far and is excited to graduate in July.

During his time at RCS, Woody was given some fantastic opportunities and has been able to be taught by some great names in the industry, most notably, Christopher Bruce. Woody was able to enjoy many performance opportunities also, at his time at RCS, including, Piano and dance, the annual graduation shows, Gleneagles and in his final year was selected to dance with Scottish Ballet in their winter tour of Snow Queen.
