Please note that attendees will be split into groups so they are able to attend all three workshops throughout the day.
9am: Registration and breakfast
9.30am – 10am: Welcome and creative intervention with Colleen Bell, Filmmaker and writer.
10am – 11am: 1st workshop session
11am – 11.30am: Tea/Coffee break
11.30am – 12.30pm: Sharings and Q&A
12.30pm – 13.15pm: Lunch
13.15pm – 14.15pm: 2nd workshop session
14.15pm – 14.45pm: Keynote with Dr Jenni Fagan, Scottish novelist and poet.
14.45pm – 15.15pm: Tea/Coffee break
15.15pm – 16.15pm: 3rd workshop session
16.15pm – 16.45pm: Round up
Workshop Information
Workshop 1 will be led by playwright Fiona Evans
Workshop 2 will be led by opera singer Rachel Hynes
Workshop 3 will be led by coach and intimacy coordinator Sharon Mackay
Sharings
The sharings will be an opportunity for artists we’ve commissioned to share their work and engage in a Q&A. These involve filmmaker Fran Higson and Director Roxana Haines and Actor/Movement Director Genna Allan.
Throughout the day there will be a person-centred counsellor available to support anyone who is affected by the themes and discussions of the symposium, and a quiet space for anyone to access.
