Advanced Adult Ballet

This is a class for adults with previous ballet experience and secure understanding of ballet technique. The weekly class will work on more complex enchainements requiring  strength and stamina. Dancers will be challenged to develop their technique and artistry skills throughout the class.

Classes are delivered by the outstanding ballet staff who teach at the RCS. The classes are designed for adults who have a minimum of 5 years experience in ballet and a solid understanding of ballet technique.

The class will be taught in a fun, supportive and inspiring environment providing adaptions for differing levels of experience throughout the class.  Classes take place on a Monday evening at our purpose built dance studios.

Dancers aged 16 years or older with a minimum of 4 years ballet experience.

Dancers who have completed their RAD Intermediate exams and above that are looking for a fun and challenging class.

This class focuses on barre work, centre work, corner enchainment’s and allegro sequences progressing from petit to grande allegro. The class is run at a quicker pace than the other two classes ideal for dancers with many years of training. The class focuses on solidifying technique alongside performance qualities and covers a huge variety of ballet steps/vocabulary.

Dancers should wear ballet shoes and come in either dance wear or fitted clothing you can move freely in.

Dancers should bring a bottle of water into the class.

The weekly classes will take place in the dance studios at Wallace Studios.
