In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland is offering two scholarships to students from China (mainland) and India applying for a one-year postgraduate courses in the following subjects:
- MA Collaborative Piano
- MA Chamber Music MA Composition
- MA Conducting
- MA Jazz
- MA Joint Principal Study
- MA Performance
- MA Performance and Musicology
- MA Performance and Pedagogy
- MA Piano for Dance
- MA Traditional Music
- MA/MFA Acting Classical and Contemporary Text
- MA/MFA Directing Classical and Contemporary Text
- MA Musical Theatre (Directing)
- MA/MFA Production (Design)
- MA/MFA Production (Management)
The GREAT Scholarships 2026 programme, launched by the British Council together with over 60 UK universities, supports postgraduate students in accessing world-class UK higher education opportunities.
The scholarship programme offers financial support of a minimum of £10,000 to students pursuing one-year postgraduate study in the UK. Students can apply for courses in a range of subjects, at over 60 institutions across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Please note that applicants must be permanent residents and passport holders of China (mainland only) or India.
