Applications for 2018/19
The Royal Conservatoire is resolutely international in outlook and we celebrate and are enriched by the diversity of our community of students and staff.
All applications to the School of Music for Undergraduate and Masters programmes must be made through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) online admissions service. The application fee is currently £25 (in addition to the audition fee), which allows up to six choices of programme of study.
The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland institution code is R58. Before applying we recommend that you follow our Applicant Guide journey which provides all the essential information regarding entry requirements, and the full application and audition process.
- For UK, EU and International applicants, late applications may be accepted.
If you submit your application after this date, we cannot guarantee that you will be invited to audition.
Applicants for the BEd (Music) programme should apply by 1 December 2017 for entry in Session 2018/19, however late applications may be considered. If you apply after 1 December, we cannot guarantee that you will be invited to audition.
The audition fee per programme is currently £55 (on time), £70 (late) and an application fee of £25.
The main audition period normally takes place in November and all on-time applicants will be auditioned. The online Applicant Guide will detail the Royal Conservatoire’s selection and audition requirements for each programme. We welcome audition recordings from non-UK applicants. Please contact the Admissions team for further advice about the applications process on Tel +44 (0)141 270 8265 or by email to email@example.com.
