Applications for 2017/18
The Royal Conservatoire is resolutely international in outlook and we celebrate and are enriched by the diversity of our community of students and staff.
All applications to the School of Music for Undergraduate and Masters programmes must be made through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) online admissions service. The application fee is currently £24 (in addition to the audition fee), which allows up to six choices of programme of study.
The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland institution code is R58. You must read the appropriate Guide for Applicants before submitting your application. The Guide provides information regarding entry requirements, how to apply and the audition process:

Applicants for the BMus or MMus programmes should apply by 3 October 2016 (6pm) for entry in Session 2017/18, however late applictions may be considered. If you are applying after this date, please email a recording for an initial screening along with a CV. The panel will then use this to see if they would invite you for a late audition. This should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Applicants for the BEd programme should apply by 1 December 2016 (6pm) for entry in Session 2 017/18, however late applications may be considered. If you apply after 1 December, we cannot guarantee that you will be invited to audition.
Late applications may be considered, please contact email@example.com with the following information; course you wish to apply for, principal study, country of residency and we can inform you if we are able to accept a late application from you.
The audition fee per programme is currently £45 (on time), £60 (late) and an application fee of £24.
The main audition period normally takes place in November and all on-time applicants will be auditioned. The above Guide for Applicants will detail the Royal Conservatoire’s selection and audition requirements for each programme. We welcome audition recordings from non-UK applicants.
