Perform around the world

During your studies you may have the opportunity to perform out with the Royal Conservatoire either within Glasgow, Scotland or internationally.

We have close partnerships with theatres across Scotland and regularly programme performances in venues including Citizens Theatre, Tramway, Dundee Rep and the Assembly Hall in Edinburgh.

Students from across the School of Music and Drama have also taken part in international opportunities; previously they have included a trip to India with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and Nicola Benedetti and James MacMillan, Brass performances in Malta and Brazil, and drama performances in New York.

We encourage students to take part in festivals and events across the world. Recent international opportunities include:

  • Acting students took part in a performing arts festival in Spoleto, Italy
  • Con Brass performed a concert in Gozo, Malta
  • BA Musical Theatre and BA Acting students performed Dear Scott, Dearest Zelda in Delaware and New York
  • Traditional Music students performed in New York and at parliamentary and royal events
