Chris Gough

French horn player Chris Gough (BMus 2014) is making a name for himself as one of the leading performers of his generation.

Chris, originally from Carshalton, Surrey, was a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain. During his studies at the Royal Conservatoire, he benefitted from participating in both the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra (BBCSSO) and Scottish Opera Apprenticeship schemes.

Following a successful trial period, the 26-year-old was appointed as principal horn player of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, making him the perfect Graduate of the Month.
