About Heaven’s Basement
Teresa is called upon by an unlikely spiritual figure to go and find her sister, Bernadette, who is estranged from the family for her sexuality. After receiving a call to action from her Lord, Teresa goes to Bernadette’s birthday party unannounced on a holy mission to bring her home. As she meets the various characters in the party, her faith in her convictions about the queer community and how to be a good catholic, begins to waver. When faced with her sister, all is unleashed.
