Indian classical music is one of the world’s oldest and most spiritually resonant art forms. At the heart of tonight’s concert is the Sarangi, a rare and deeply expressive bowed instrument, once on the brink of extinction. With fewer than a handful of virtuosos worldwide, this performance offers a unique opportunity to experience the Sarangi in the hands of Satwinder Pal Singh, one of the leading young artists of his generation.

He will be joined by Sodhi on Tabla and a special guest appearance from Mischa MacPherson, whose voice brings a Celtic dimension to this East-meets-West musical dialogue. The blend of Sarangi and Gaelic vocals may be a first-of-its-kind collaboration, adding another layer of uniqueness to the evening.
