This interdisciplinary concert brings together music, film, and dance in an evening of vivid visual and sonic storytelling.

A string quartet performs a composition by Paul Halley alongside the short film The Maker by Zealous Creative. Set inside an enchanted workshop, the film follows a mysterious creature racing against time to complete the most important and beautiful creation of his life. Music and image unfold together, drawing the audience into a world where imagination, craft, and urgency intertwine.

The program continues with Unit 2, a work that follows the earlier piece The Creation of the Universe. Here, dancers and musicians meet in a shared language of improvisation, responding to one another through evolving textures of movement and sound. Beneath this live dialogue lies a subtle narrative thread, allowing meaning to emerge through interaction rather than fixed form.

The second half opens with the dance solo Figures in Sea Glass, created to music by Hannah Siddiqui. The work reflects on the image of sea glass — fragments shaped and softened by time and tide, transformed into something unexpectedly luminous. Through this metaphor, the piece invites contemplation of resilience, transformation, and the layered nature of womanhood.

The evening culminates in Pictures in Two Movements for chamber orchestra, composed by Mariia Bahach. Inspired by visual art and seascapes, the music is accompanied by projected imagery that expands the emotional landscape of the work. One of the featured visuals, appearing in the second movement The Golden Time, was created especially for the piece by the composer’s sister, Anna Bahach, adding a personal artistic dialogue to the performance.

Together, these works trace a journey through creation, transformation, and the meeting points between art forms — where sound becomes image, movement becomes music, and stories unfold beyond words.
