Cuirm nam Bonn Òir le Ruairidh Gray

Ruairidh Gray, a 4th year student on the Traditional Music Course in the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, has brought together over 75 Gold Medallists of the Royal National Mòd from across eight decades.

Never before has such a gathering been attempted.

Alongside the Gold Medallists, students from across 5 School of Music Department shall be partaking in the concert. From the strings, keyboard, brass, traditional music, and woodwind department. As well as eminent traditional musicians from out with the RCS. Such as the legendary John “Ikey” Carmichael on accordion, Kirsteen Grant on piano, as well as RCS faculty Anna Michels on piano and Ciorstaidh Beaton on Clarsach.

A truly historic evening for the cultural life of Gaelic Scotland. A night which will live long in the memories of all who attend.
