British tenor Joshua Ellicott has an international career that has taken him to the top concert halls and opera houses of the world with some of the finest artists of this generation. His repertoire is breathtakingly varied, covering early music (especially Bach, Handel and Monteverdi), right through to Wagner and Elgar to the composers of our own time. For this special recital in Trinity Church he brings a mixed programme of Bach, Schubert, Schumann and Benjamin Britten.
He comes with accompanist Anna Tilbrook, one of the country’s finest pianists with a considerable reputation in song recitals and chamber music.
