Foundering: Music for Fiddle, Harp and Chamber Orchestra

Violinist Claudia Edwards and harpist Eleanor Dunsdon, in partnership with Glasgow Cathedral, present a unique concert of contemporary folk music with chamber orchestra.

The concert will feature Chris Stout and Catriona McKay’s epic three-movement piece Moder Dy, and Edwards’ original composition “Foundering” (for solo violin and string ensemble).

Edwards and Dunsdon are supported by an ensemble of both past and present students of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland; Glasgow-based Irish poet, Aidan McEoin; and award-winning Scottish singer, Ruairidh Gray.
