Merchant Sinfonia, Glasgow’s community orchestra, would like to welcome you to our Winter concert. Led by the inspirational conductor Louise Martin, we will celebrate the season with a lovely mix of festive and traditional orchestral repertoire including Mussorgsky’s Night on Bald Mountain and the Overture from The Muppets Christmas Carol.
This afternoon’s performance will also be a fantastic opportunity to hear the Glasgow premiere of Skating with Mr Gow – the most recent orchestral work from award-winning composer Oliver Iredale Searle.
