Give your pupils an introduction to the world of opera and an insight into backstage technology with these FREE 75-minute concerts from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Showcasing a 100-strong chorus of young people studying Vocal Performance at the Conservatoire, these daytime concerts in RCS’s New Athenaeum Theatre, will feature choruses from works by Beethoven, Verdi and more, as well as insights from RCS production students, who will lift the curtain on the crucial work undertaken by the lighting and backstage crews.
Presented by Jamie MacDougall, these concerts are a chance to experience the power of choral singing and shine a spotlight on life backstage at a live performance. These performances are for schools only.
