The RCS Choir, conducted by Andrew Nunn and accompanied by Michal Gajzler and Geoffrey Tanti on piano, come together to perform Gioachino Rossini‘s Petite messe solennelle. Having retired from composing his famous operas for over 30 years at the time of composition, Rossini ironically labelled the sacred work as “the last of his sins of old age” and was first performed only four years before his death to great acclaim.
