Scottish Young Musicians Ensemble of the Year Competition 2026

Presented by Singer and Broadcaster Jamie MacDougall, The Scottish Young Musicians Ensemble of the Year National Final will take place at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland on Sunday 1 March 2026.

This competition was open to instruments of all disciplines, with the 12 finalists including Brass, Guitar, Woodwind,  Strings, Percussion and Jazz ensembles.

We hope you can join us to see first-hand the culmination of our young musicians’ hard work as they compete in this year’s competition.
