The Russian Soul of Medtner with Sholpan Miller & Masha McMinn

Join pianist Sholpan Sharbakova Miller and guest artist Masha McMinn for a Lecture-Recital exploring the imaginative world of Russian composer Nikolai Medtner. This interdisciplinary event features Medtner’s 8 Poems after Tyutchev and Fet, Op. 24, and Skazki (Fairy Tales), Op. 26, brought to life through live performance, spoken poetry, and a visual backdrop. A specially created video projection with sound narration accompanies the performance, blending Medtner’s music with contemporary visual art to offer a deeply immersive experience.
