The Stone

Inês Soares is joined by Lasse Möbus, Gracie Davie and Noah Watkin for her last Artist Diploma project, in a performance that weaves together baroque and contemporary music with storytelling. 

“The Stone” is a collection of memories.

In this piece we follow a story from childhood to adulthood – integrating music, sound, text and movement to ask the central questions: Where do the things that we carry come from? And when something in us screams “you’re not good enough!”, should we scream back?

The program includes works by Telemann, Fazıl Say, Grigoris Polyzos, Noah Watkin and Johann Paul von Westhoff.
