In this play by Al Smith, local police try to find a culprit behind the felling of the Robin Hood Tree at Sycamore Gap. As they are taken from school’s eco-club the one-by-one for interview, the pupils interrogate each other to find answers. Who could have done something so monstrous and why?

Presented as part of National Theatre Connections 2026, the Juniors Performance Company come together to perform this new fictionalised retelling of events in the Alexander Gibson Opera Studio.

Connections is the National Theatre’s annual, nationwide youth theatre festival. To find out more about National Theatre Connections, please visit www.nationaltheatre.org.uk/connections
