Following an inspiring week of workshops with Visiting Professor of Conducting, Martyn Brabbins, students from the Conducting Department will lead the Hebrides Ensemble in a performance of Walton’s Façade. A trio of narrators from Vocal Performance, Musical Theatre and Stage and Screen join this cross-Conservatoire event.

Adding to the Iberian theme of the afternoon, the concert also features transcriptions of piano works by Albéniz, Debussy, Scarlatti and Turina arranged by the conductors themselves, choreographed and danced by students from the School of Dance, performed by RCS instrumentalists and Hebrides Ensemble side-by-side.
