About PLUG

Now in its 20th year, PLUG is RCS’s launchpad for new musical experiments and ideas emerging from the School of Music.

This year, our students kick things off with a Mondays at One performance featuring Brass, Sax and Percussion, and we’re delighted to welcome back the School of Dance, collaborating with our composers in a special performance of new electronic works.

We’re also pleased to welcome back percussionist and PLUG regular Calum Huggan, who will perform alongside our contemporary music ensemble, RCS MusicLab. The week concludes with Hebrides Ensemble, presenting a programme of trios, quartets and quintets, including the winner of the Walter & Dinah Wolfe Memorial Award.
