9 to 5 tells the story of three women tirelessly attempting to fill their cup of ambition in a world that keeps pushing them back. Violet, Judy and Doralee all work in the office of a sexist, egotistical, lying biggot, otherwise known as Franklin Hart. After reaching a boiling point the three women join forces, concocting a plan to kidnap and turn the tables on Hart in order to create a workplace that challenges the misogyny of corporate America. Will the women empower the office for good or will their fantasies run away from them?
Based on the much-loved 1980’s film of the same name, 9 to 5 celebrates courage, sisterhood, and standing up for what you believe in. With a score by one of the greatest music stars of all time, brought to you by an ensemble including actor-musicians, 9 to 5 is sure to deliver toe tapping tunes, comedy and a generous sprinkle of Dolly Parton for good measure.
