Amicus Orchestra are delighted to present this programme in collaboration with flautist Caglayan Barbaros.
The centre-piece is Malcolm Arnold’s virtuosic first flute concerto preceded by Elgar’s lush romantic masterpiece for strings, the Introduction & Allegro. Beethoven’s revolutionary symphony Eroica heralds the beginnings of the romanticism era and remains one of the ever-green classics of all time.
