In this concert, and to round off the year, the Symphony Orchestra celebrates the achievements and spirit of our own staff and students. The evening features two concertos performed by RCS graduates and concerto prize winners for 2024/25, Wanyue Cui and Brendan Norris.

Rounding off the programme is the world premiere of a new concerto by retired staff member Rory Boyle, performed in celebration of his 75th birthday. Joining the orchestra as soloist is our Director of Music, Aaron Shorr, for whom the work was specially composed.
