To round off the season, the RCS Symphony Orchestra celebrates the achievements and spirit of our own staff and students. The evening will feature concertos for piano and double bass performed by the Classical Concerto Competition winners for 2024/25, Wanyue Cui and Brendan Norris.

Rounding off the programme is the world premiere of a new concerto by Rory Boyle, performed in celebration of his 75th birthday. Joining the orchestra as soloist is our Director of Music, Aaron Shorr, for whom the work was specially composed.

Leading the celebrations, we are delighted to welcome renowned Scottish conductor Douglas Boyd to RCS for the first time.
