Celebrate the timeless words of William Shakespeare, brought to life through song, opera and musical theatre.

Featuring music by Roger Quilter, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Franz Schubert, Arthur Sullivan, Charles Gounod, Benjamin Britten and Leonard Bernstein, this rich programme includes highlights from beloved works such as Romeo et Juliette, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and West Side Story.

Enjoy a varied programme from the Conservatoire’s MMus Performance & Pedagogy students, showcasing songs, opera and musical theatre.

After the concert, you’re warmly invited to stay for a relaxed, one-hour singing workshop. Open to all, this friendly session offers the chance to learn and perform a selection of accessible pieces. No experience needed, just a willingness to take part.

Singing together can support wellbeing, breathing and connection. We hope you’ll leave feeling uplifted and inspired.
