Charlie Stewart and Friends

Glasgow-based multi-instrumentalist Charlie Stewart is one of Scotland’s most versatile traditional musicians. A fiddle and bass player from Glenfarg, he has recorded with more than 30 artists and performs internationally with some of Scotland’s leading folk musicians, including Siobhan Miller, Matt Carmichael, Juliette Lemoine, Ross Miller and Mischa MacPherson. He also performs in a celebrated duo with harpist Rebecca Hill. As a solo artist, Charlie was awarded a prestigious New Voices commission at Celtic Connections, has appeared at Proms in the Park, and was crowned BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year. For this special Charlie Stewart and Friends concert, he is joined by Scotland’s finest musicians.
